The objective of this website is to promote musical talents from all across Virginia. Fill out one of our listing submission forms, and we may add you to our ever-growing directory of Virginia-based musicians. We promote your concerts, online lessons, master class, or anything music related. We’re currently offering general listings and music lesson listings on our website. If you want to be listed under either or both, just let us know and we will list you there with links to your website and social media pages.

For one, we’re looking musicians based in Virginia. Additionally, we require a promotional photo (preferably with a 1:1 aspect ratio), a description of yourself, and any links you wish to include in your profile.

Keep in mind that filling out a Listing Submission Form does not guarantee a spot on this website. Listings will be accepted at our own discretion.

You pay nothing for your listings. Our mission is to ultimately help Virginia musicians find a wider audience. As such, we’re not currently asking for a fee for any listing.

Not to worry, we would be more than happy to help! Just contact us at info@musicfest.org or call us at 540-459-3396, and we will work with you to resolve any issues you have with your listing.

Unfortunately, we wouldn’t be able to keep up with a list like that for every artist. For our events page, we would prefer to keep it limited to things like annual music events or other special occasions. If you have one you’re performing at and you’d like to share it, then feel free to submit a listing! Just be aware that we will accept events at our discretion to ensure that all artists and events are represented equally.

As a nonprofit music presenter, SVMF’s mission to bring music to the Shenandoah Valley with its summer concert series as well as provide educational and enriching musical experiences. This website will help SVMF to fulfill that mission by “virtually” guiding music lovers to great performances, events, and other music educational opportunities. There is so much going on online and so much clutter that we want to make it easier for the public at large to find your work, whether it be a streamed performance, online music lessons, or an educational experience.

Right now, out of our own pockets. You can also use the Donate button on our main website if you or your friends or audience members want to help defray the cost.

If you teach online music lessons, we have a page dedicated to those listings as well. Use the same submission form to provide us with a link and the pertinent details for us to post on this site. We also have a webpage of musician profiles. You can indicate your interest in listing your profile on the submission form and we will touch base with you to get a photo and additional information.

Not to worry! You can email us at info@musicfest.org or call us at 540-459-3396 with any further questions.
