They would stay after school singing Jason Mraz and Ingrid Michaelson and Dave Matthews tunes\, led a few holiday sing-a-longs and eventually Summer convinced Eric to go to an impromptu open mic. That led to their first gig and years later\, they sing almost 100 shows a year all over Virginia\, Maryland and DC.
